Could you say how you've solved it for the other users?

Can't set parameters for fixedShape2
Category: Programming

As I understand, fixedShape and fixedShape2 of the standard multibody library should be the same, except that fixedShape2 also has a b-frame connector. However, when I try to set the parameters for the dimensions of a fixedShape2 object, I can't see that option:https://imgur.com/a/jxeJezC

Compared to the 'normal' fixedShape, I get the correct form (I think) only for the fixedShape option: https://imgur.com/a/GsH7dsH

Version I use: https://imgur.com/a/S7KfjjO

When trying to simulate the examples included in the Contact library, I'm getting the error that the system is over-determined. Is there a plan on making this library work voor openmodelica or is there a workaround for a temporary fix?

Hey,

I'm trying to get a good representation of my CAD drawn parts with the use of //Multibody.Parts.BodyShape. I only manage to get them visible in Openmodelica with linking to the STL format of the drawing and only with the option to change the whole color of the part. Is there a way to visualize my imported parts with more detail, like multiple colors or textures?

Cheers!

Need help with axis driven by two motors

Dear reader,

I'm having trouble with modeling a gantry-like system. I want to drive the motion in the y-axis with two motors (each on one side). However, when I try to model this (see attachment), the model would be over-constrained. My guess is that the model fails because of the rigid body I use but I'm not sure. I tried to find flexible bodies (in free libraries) but with no success. Any tips?
