Hello all,
Can someone please help on the topic why socket is partly depreciated and replaced by the Corba implementation ? I currently work with sockets to communicate with openmodelica and works fine. I would like to know the reason if i need to shift to Corba.
Kind regards,
Maria
Hello Carla,
If your executable is working without errors, then you can start the server. For this again go the command line and use the following flags with the executable.
xxx.exe -embeddedServer=opc-ua -rt=1
This should work.
Thanks,
Maria
Dear all,
I can connect to OPC UA Client - UaExpert with my model exe file , but always I get the result for the input value of 0. Eventhough I run the model and use new exe files after changing the inputs. Do I need to change something in UaExpert? Please find the attachment for details.
Thanking you,
Maria
Hello All,
I am trying to control the simulation of my model using the radio buttons (as start and stop buttons).
Is it possible in Openmodelica? I am referring to example in Blocks.Examples.Interaction1.
Is there any other way for real time simulation?
Any information of real time simulation will be really helpful.. Thanking you..
Regards,
Maria
Thank you so much. It worked.

Hello everyone,
I'm experimenting an interactive simulation of my model with Unified Automation Ua expert. I use Ubuntu system and how can i start an OPC UA server generated with Open Modelica?
For windows we could use the below : xxx.exe -embeddedServer=opc-ua -rt=1
and after that to connect UA expert with OpenModelica OPC UA server.
Thank you for the help.
Kind regards,
Maria
