I had the exact same question. It seems that this question hasn't been answered.
In fact I already wrote a steady state model. And the non linear equations solver failed in solving it. I am not so surprised since the problem is quite complicated (the model is a power flow problem).
But I would like to know whether it is possible to provide the solver to ta care of the time dependency while there isn't any variable which is linked to the time.
