Using OM as an algebraic/steady-state solver
Using OM as an algebraic/steady-state solver
Hi,
I want to use OM as an algebraic system solver (or a steady state solver). Is OM the right tool for such problems. If so, are there any issues/problems/techniques that I need to be aware of??? Are there any examples that I can use to get started???
Zack
Re: Using OM as an algebraic/steady-state solver
I had the exact same question. It seems that this question hasn't been answered.
In fact I already wrote a steady state model. And the non linear equations solver failed in solving it. I am not so surprised since the problem is quite complicated (the model is a power flow problem).
But I would like to know whether it is possible to provide the solver to ta care of the time dependency while there isn't any variable which is linked to the time.
Thank you very much,
Swann

Hello Sgasnier
Excuse me, could detail a little bit more what you need?
there isn't any variable which is linked to the time.
In fact "time" gets you the simulation time. Did you refer to this?
Best regards
Koldo
