Looking for simple tabular output of a variable rather than a plot.

How do I get the value of a variable after a simulation is run from within the OMEdit or OMNotebook environment?  I know how to access the results in the csv or the mat file, but I'd like to look at the values while looking at the plot in one of the graphical tools.
