Dear all,

I am a marine engineer interested in creating simulations of ship and small craft propulsion systems. For several years I have been using Scilab for the purpose and eventually got a bit frustrated as the blocks were rarely re usable. To my understanding re usability is one of the core ideas of Modelica and I believe to be on the right track now.

Would be interested to know if there are other people here using Modelica for propulsion simulation (vehicle or marine) to exchange thoughts.
I am especially interested in literature recommendations regarding propulsion systems using Modelica.
