External Objects

Hello all,
I have some libraries developed with SimulationX and Dymola which I would like to use with OpenModelica.

My Question: Does OpenModelica currently support "External Objects"?
If yes, can anyone provide an example?

It is supported, but not tested very well in the testsuite (2 out of 1000+ testcases I believe).

As an example, the following is supported:

If there are any issues you find with our external object implementation we would love some examples that currently fail so we can fix it and add more testcases.
