I am thinking on making OpenModelica interconnected (simplified) model of airplane systems (hydraulic, pressurization, bleed air, air cond, electric…), for educational purposes, which should be perfectly possible, and OpenModellica is an ideal tool for that.

But once I build the model, is it possible to build interactive controls & indications from the cockpit (using bitmaps like e.g. hydraulic panel with switches, aircon panel with rotary knobs etc.), and simulate the display output (e.g. graphical scheme/number cockpit display), all in real time, with openmodelica as the simulation “engine”?
