Hey there!
Once again, I have a problem in OpenModelica, and hopefully you folks can help me finding a solution.

Inside my model, I want to get the Path where my library and also a textfile is stored. After getting the full path, I want to write that path and the textfile´s name into a combiTimeTable.

I want to do this, because I´m working with some collegues on the same model. Everytime somebody types in a Pathname for the textfile, I have to overwrite the path again, because of the different directory names.

Did you exprerienced any solution for that kind of problem?

You would help me a lot!

Thank´s for your help!

Hi everyone!
Finally, I´m glad to be here, since I am quite new to OpenModelica and it´s multitude of posibilities.

For school, I have to create a package for the simulation of enviromental impact on buildings. To simulate the enviromental temperature, I created a CombiTimetable, which is fed by weather data via txt.file. The Timetable works fine, and with some other blocks, the model gives the ambient temperature in SIunits as a result.

Since this model is only a small part of a whole system, I´m looking for a way to simplify the data handling of the txt. files. Therefore, I want to make the Timetable´s dialog box accessible clicking on the block which I explained above.

Do you know if there is any possibility to do so?

I didn´t find anything on the internet regarding that topic, so a little hint from your side would help me lot!

Thank you for your helping comments!

Best regards,
Max
