Optimal way to simulate a moving vehicle, box, or object along a

Hi everyone, I'm new here and to Modelica in general.

I've begun reading up on tutorials and what I need to begin my use of the language, primarily OMEdit.

Are there any known examples of a physical mass sliding down a plane in OMEdit?

I would like to eventually input a table of data into the program that includes three columns of values:

Distance (ft)    | Grade (%) |     Speed Restriction (mph)
0                                1                            25
1000                        1                            25
2000                        2                            25
2500                        2                            40
3000                       -1                            40

The moving object should respect that from distance 0 to 1000 ft. it is experiencing a grade of 1% and a speed restriction of 25 mph.

For any upcoming speed adjustments, say at distance 2500 ft, the object will be modeled to adjust to that speed.

I feel I just need a good starting point then I can go off to the races with this.  Thank you so much to anyone in advance for any help!
