Running against hard walls after implementing simple examples of a mechanical gerade system

Hello,
I managed to implement a rotatory model with gears, a wheel etc.. But when attempting to get the power I failed. The documentation of xySensors (Powersensor in my case) avoids to describe how to apply it. It worked inserted serially but did change the models behavior this way, inserting in parallel to the power flow failed because there was no way to connect to a  ShowRealValue element.
many thanks for some pointer to more documentation, especially building a combined model propulsion+ longitudinal vehicle system.
