Culprit found: OMEdit crashes trying to receive news feeds from openmodelica.org. Without network connection OMEdit starts fine.

P.S.: Blocking outgoing connections for OMEdit with a rule of the windows firewall also helps...

Hello OM-Forum.

I 'd like to try OpenModelica and evaluate it if I was useful for our company. Unfortunately I cannot run OMEdit as it crashes during startup. I've tried 1.9.0 and 1.9.1_nightly, both the same. Installation directory does not contain spaces. Operating system is Windows 7 64Bit.

Is this a known problem? I have not found a matching ticket in the bugtracker. Anybody has an idea on how to get OM working on this machine?
