While right clicking a model in the working space, we get parameters and attributes. What are the functions of attributes and for what purpose its used...?Under attributes it has different options like variability, casuality. What does this refer to..?

I am trying to solve the example Simple pendulam model where I created the model using ( world,revolute,damper and body) as shown in example. But how to initialize the model (parameters like gravity..)..How to do it..? Can somebody help me..?
