OMEdit crashes directly after flash window is visible

Some more details. If I start OMEdit from the shell I got this error message:

I got the same issue with my MAC (10.8.2). I cannot install anything higher than built 11645, without having this error on OMEdit. I tried both to install the built binary, and the macport version as well. Both OMEdit crash at execution. Any suggestions?
