Is MODELICA specialized to dynamical systems? +

Is MODELICA specialized to dynamical systems? +

Hello,

I am quite interrested by Modelica.
However, my main domain of application would be in static simulation of industrial plants.
Therefore, I would like to know if Modelica is mainly dedicated to modeling dynamical system,
or if it can also be used to study steady-state system efficiently.

Of course, the steady-state solution can be obtained for a "long simulation",
but this might not be efficient for the systems I am considering.

Thanks for your comments,

Michel

Hi,

You could ask this question in the Modelica design list:
  Modelica-design@Modelica.org
as is more related to the Modelica language.
