v sin package giving odd output
v sin package giving odd output
i am new to modlica. i was implementing a simple RC low pass filter. i selected the v sin package as my input source. initially i tested the circuit at small frequency that is 10,50 Hz.. it was fine but i noticed a small thing. even though i had given the amplitude as 10V it was 9.something , not exactly 10. then i increased the frequency to 500 Hz . the input got distorted. it was like saw tooth voltage increasing slowly but the y-scale was in nanos. i can't proceed any further without getting the correct input. kindly help
Re: v sin package giving odd output
Have you tried increasing the number of output points? The default is 500 points, and the plot utility doesn't know it is a sine wave so it may not look right even though it is.
